The Ramleela being played at GTB Enclave in Dilshad Garden is enchanting the audience these days.
With the commencement of Ramleela people have got into a festive mood. Such is the atmosphere of festivities that one can feel it by hearing sounds of bhajan (hymn) and chants of mantras all around.
Ramleela plays are becoming centre of attraction for people living in the societies. People of all age groups are taking keen interest in the play on the legend of Lord Ram being staged in their societies.
One such Ramleela is being played at GTB Enclave in Dilshad Garden which is popular among the people of the locality for the grandeur in simplicity in its depiction of the times of Ramayana. It's the result of the dedication of the orgnisers professionalism of the artists.
On Thursday, Sita-Ram marriage ceremony was enacted on the stage with a tinge of modernity blended with tradition. The highlight of the event was a drone carrying garland to Sita for the ritual garlanding.
The drone was flying 10 feet higher in the air when it moved towards Sita. Sita grabbed the garland and went on to perform the ritual.
The scene held everyone among the audience in mesmeric spell. The thrill of watching their favourite legend getting into wedlock by tying the nuptial knot was mesmersing indeed.
Ramleela is being organised for the last ten years at GTB Enclave in Shahdara district. The residents take active part in the proceedings of the event every year.
