The SSP has asked the officials to join their new postings with immediate effect.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Vaibhav Krishna on Thursday ordered transfer of 54 police officials from Noida and Greater Noida area.
“The changes have been brought after scrutinising the performance of these officials,” an official letter from the police media cell said.
The sub-inspectors have been transferred in such a manner that those working in the rural area have been stationed in the city and vice versa.
As per the official information, most of these transfers have taken place in Noida’s Sector 20 police station and Greater Noida’s Beta 2 and Jewar police stations.
From Sector 20, six sub-inspectors have been transferred and five each from Beta and Jewar police stations.
Across the district, 23 stations will get a new in-charge after this move.
