People are doing worship of Goddess Durga with all passion and excitement.
Durga Puja is being celebrated at Gaur Sportswood in Sector 79, Noida with gaiety and devotion. This being the second year of Durga Puja celebration at the society there is lot of excitement among the people.
Be it worshipping their favourite deity, taking part in other rituals or simply merrymaking on the occasion, they were involved in the festivities with passion and excitement.
Several activities are being organised at the society to mark the auspicious occasion. The Gaur Sportswood Cultural Committee organised dandiya and garbha (folk dances) inside the society for adults and children alike.
Food stalls and small flea market was the main attraction of the festival. The upcoming events are Mata Ki Chowki and bhandara (community feast) on October 6.
