Traffic advisory for PM visit to Dwarka Sector 10

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Dwarka Sector 10 at around 05.30 pm. He will mark his presence at the DDA ground Ramleela.

In view of the visit by the most distinguished dignitary of the country, the local administration, along with the police, has made elaborate arrangements in and around the venue. The traffic police, on its part, has taken all the measures required to facilitate smooth passage of the convoy of the prime minister while ensuring unrestrained traffic flow.

Hence, all roads around the Ramleela venue and leading towards it will be closed for vehicular traffic at 2 pm. 

Vehicles bound for VVIP parking provided adjacent to PNB building and General parking provided in DDA ground near village Ambarhai near Gupta properties will be allowed to be plied and enter these parkings till 4.30 PM and that too through road no 205 i.e. road running in front of welcome hotel to Akshardham society.

In an advisory issued to the media, the police solicited cooperation of all the members of the societies and DDA pockets in the maintenance of law and order in the area on the occasion with a regret for any inconvenience they could face in the process.


The traffic arrangements for the occasion are as follows:

Roads will be blocked at following points:

1. At 6/10 crossing,

2. Golak Dham Mandir T-point,

3. At Sector 10 Metro station;

4. At Sector 11 Metro station;

5. Akshardham Apartments.

6. DCP office side road.

Pedestrian movement is allowed all around except pass-bound area and VVIP route area. On VVIP route vehicular entries will be restricted.

The police also advised the visitors to the area against carrying articles in a list attached with the advisory. (See chart)
