Delhi Metro's Blue Line services get affected at Uttam Nagar East

Metro services on Blue Line got affected after a passenger jumped on the track at Uttam Nagar East station on Wednesday.

Sources said that a man jumped on the track and injured himself around 4 pm. As per them, the man was in his senses when he was taken to hospital in an ambulance.

The injured man was taken to Mata Chanan Devi Hospital in Janakpuri.

The metro services were affected for around 20 minutes between Dwarka Sector 21 and Rajiv Chowk stations.

The delay in train services caused inconvenience to the passengers. Stations got crowded due to the delay in services.

The reason for trespassing on the track is not known yet.

As per information, the normal services have resumed on the Blue Line. Rest other metro lines are functioning as usual.
