Residents of Windsor Court, a high rise in Sector 78, Noida, complained that the developer was not clearing the construction debris lying unattended in the basement of all the five incomplete residential towers in the society. They say concerned officials do not heed to their grievances.

P K Dash, a resident of the society, made the complaint via social media. He uploaded two pictures of the basement where the construction debris is lying.

He said, ''This is the state of my society where construction debris are lying in the basement causing the residents enormous inconvenience. We have complained about it to the concerned departments, including Uttar Pradesh State Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP RERA). But none bothered to conduct a site inspection."

This is not the only complaint of the residents. The developer has yet to arrange for regular water and power supply connections supply and lay a sewer line. There are 180 families residing in the society who have access to basic services albeit temporarily.

Commenting on one of the pictures posted by Dash, another resident, Manish Gupta, said that none of the residential towers have been completed. The builder, he said had failed to ensure a single basic amenity to the residents.

At least 170 families living in 725 flats of the society are deprived of basic facilities. They have been constantly pursuing the builder to fulfill his commitment but to no avail.
Gupta said that four years have passed since he got the possession of his flat, but there is still no end in sight to the wait for the basic facilities.
