An auto driver Laallji has a terrible time today as his teenage son is suffering from a deadly infection in his genital. The poor child is unable to even urinate and sit properly due to the disease.
Unfortunately, the struggles of 13-year-old Krishna for treatment does not seem to come to an end as his poor father can not afford the money required for his treatment.
Having once campaigned for Aam Aadmi Party, the frustrated autorickshaw driver saw a ray of hope in the party in power in the National Capital.
But this hope too dashed when he failed to get a concrete assurance of financial assistance for the treatment of his son from the Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal when he contacted him.
The matter came into limelight when Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Rajesh Ranjan or Pappu Yadav tweeted about Krishna a few weeks ago.
Soon, Sir Gangaram Hospital had called Laalji for treatment of his son. Though doctors at the hospital operated upon Krishna, he did not get relief. Even as his genitals were still soaked in blood, the hospital forcibly discharged him. The surgery ruined his life.
Now, he cannot even walk while the infection is spreading gradually.The doctors say, “He has a genetic blood infection which is not hundred per cent curable. Medicines can only give some relief.”
Krishna actively participated in Anna movement in 2012 with his father. Laalji said that he expended all his money for the treatment of Krishna.
Laalji does not see a ray of hope to cure his son anymore. However, he is running a campaign on Facebook to support Krishna.
