Reflecting the festive mood of celebration, residents of Corona Optus, a residential society in Sector 37 C, Gurugram, organised its third Diwali Mela with great zest and zeal.
Various fun-filled activities were held at the mela for the residents including a kid’s zone, food, music, games, shopping stalls, etc. More than 600 people gathered at the central park of the society to explore shopping options and have a good time at the mela.
The mela was brimming with vibrant stalls showcasing and selling handicrafts, handbags, handlooms, home decor, and exclusive gift items. Besides the quirky stalls, there were fun activities for kids.
Residents were seen dancing on the beats of DJ music and merry making on the occasion. Kamini Aggrawal, one of the resident, said, “We had a gala time enjoying every bit of it with our friends and neighbours. I had a great experience while going for Diwali shopping. A variety of food delicacies was the best part of the mela.”
Deep Chand Yadav, another resident, said, “There were various fun-filled activities for the residents they enjoyed. We have tried to create festive vibes for the residents. This kind of gatherings also provides a great opportunity for residents to connect with each other.”
