Noida Authority officials meet 7X residents to resolve their issues

The Noida Industrial Development Authority on Tuesday convened a joint meeting of its officials and residents from high rises in 7X Sectors to take up the issues arising from or outside the residential societies. Officers from work circle 6 of Noida Authority also inspected facilities being provided to the residents of these society.

Residents of Grand Ajnara Heritage, a high rise in Sector 74, put forth a 16-point charter of demands before the officers and urged them to pay serious attention to resolve the issues the society is confronting with. 
D K Singh, president of Apartment Owners Association (AOA), Grand Ajnara Heritage, said that they (the officials) gave a patient hearing to to their grievances and took down all the issues raised by them. The officers assured them that concerned departments of the authority would be entrusted with the task of looking into each issue and take appropriate measures to resolve them.

The issues raised by the residents include bringing Sector 74 under remote surveillance system, development of walking track in public parks, turning barren islands on alongside the main road into green cover, conducting structural audit of societies' building, outdoor sport facilities, directing developers of respective residential societies for timely handover with cent percent interest free maintenance securities, separat zone for pet lovers etc.

Besides the above common issues, residents of Supertech Capetown, another residential society in Sector 74, demanded installation of traffic lights at main road junctures in their residential pockets. They requested the officials to install traffic lights at the road junctures near Sorkha and north eye crossing for monitoring traffic flows in the areas.

Apart from these, a demand for an entry gate for each of the societies was also made for easy access to public park. Currently, the residents have to walk down or travel around a mile for availing facilities available in the park. They told the officials to begin the development in the park sprawling over 100 acres of land.
