Broken drainage, located opposite Rockwell building in Sector 63, Noida, is causing a lot of inconvenience to the passersby in the area. They residents are now demanding from Noida Authority to cover the drain as soon as possible to avoid any unforeseen incidents.
The broken drainage is not only putting the lives of individuals in danger but it is also a threat to strays that roam around in the area.
Thousands of people pass through the area during day time. They put in extra caution while passing by the drainage. With no proper lighting facility in place, anyone can fall into the drain and receive fatal injuries during night.
The drain has been in broken state for over a year now and no one has come for any recce.
The area around the open drain has a lot of hawkers selling food and other goods. Moreover, an open drainage creates a more unhygienic environment.
