Resident welfare association (RWA) of Sector 51, Noida on Thursday installed a new door to check intrusion in the residential pockets. Office bearers of the RWA hoped that the door at Block-C would further strengthen security in the area.
Sanjeev Kumar, general secretary of the RWA, said the installation of the iron door at the entrance of the block was crucial to ward off unwanted entries into the sector from a private hospital located beside the gate.
He acknowledged the support extended to the RWA by the RWA Ashok Pardhan, president of block-H, Anil Prakash Ranotra, president of the RWA, Pawan Sharma, vice-president, and other members of the RWA in replacing the old wooden doors of the gate.
He said, ''Doors of the gate no-1 and 9 were replaced for security reasons as the old ones had been damaged over the years. Now that these they are replaced with iron doors foolproof safety of the residents is assured.''
Moreover, the RWA has announced the installation of six night-vision CCTV Cameras at gate no-9 of the sector for monitoring activities outside the entry gate.
