Tweeple ask whether preggers with drivers exempt from odd-even

As the odd-even road rationing scheme is all set to be implemented from November 4-15, there has been a lot of buzz on the social media platforms surrounding it.

People are tweeting their concerns and want clarification from the government on the same.

One of the concerns of residents was whether pregant women are allowed to commute with a driver or not.

Many women were seen sharing this concern on social media platform, Twitter.

The problem seemed genuine as people in large number were seen asking the same question from the government.

One of the residents of Greater Noida, Meghna posed a query on Twitter whether the government would allow her a driver for regular commute to office in case she gets pregnant.

She said she can not afford cab service on a regular basis.

Tagging Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Dr Avantika Sharma wrote on Twitter, “@ArvindKejriwal Respected Sir, I am 6 months pregnant & my husband drives me to work from Noida to Gurgaon, will I be exempted from odd even rule? (sic)”

Another Twitter user suggested the CM to exempt pregnant women travelling in any car during odd-even scheme.

Pyiush Chaudhary wrote, “@ArvindKejriwal Sir, your odd even scheme is a welcome measure. But please allow pregnant women to move on all days. My wife is pregnant and will need to go to work with a driver. If the government needs. She will carry her papers everyday. (sic)”
