Saya Zion residents celebrate Diwali with poor school girls

Many families living at Saya Zion joined hands for a noble cause on the occasion of Diwali. A total of 65 families came together to celebrate Diwali at Arsh Kanya Gurukul Vidyalaya at Sector 115 in Noida.

There are around 115 girls studying at the school. They became elated to see people coming to celebrate Diwali with them. Most of the girl students are poor and hail from different parts of the country.

The residents donated many useful things to the students including stationeries, sweets and food materials.

Director of trust operating the school, Seema said that such kind of efforts uplift the spirit of students.

She said, “Efforts like these will motivate others as well. Any effort to make children happy is commendable. Now, I think more people would come to celebrate with students.”
