A mother-daughter duo had a narrow escape after the e-rickshaw they were traveling in toppled after skidding on a crater near Gaur city chowk on Friday evening. This incident and the many that took place earlier owe it to the dilapidated and potholed roads in Greater Noida West.
Soon, a swarm of passersby circled the spot and helped the accident victims to get out of the e-rickshaw. Luckily, no one was hurt except the auto-driver who had some bruises on his hand and legs.
Though the Greater Noida Authority has come out with a list of the roads that need to be constructed in a phased manner, the residents of Gaur Chowk area feel their area should have been taken up on priority as thousands of vehicles including big and commercial vehicles pass by it.
They also complained that due to broken roads there is a severe problem of dust in the vicinity.
