Dwarka police on Monday arrested a 14-year-old auto lifter who was involved in many cases. The police were successful in busting a network involved in auto-lifting cases.
As per police, six stolen bikes were recovered after apprehension of the auto lifter.
During the interrogation, the auto lifter said that he used to steal bikes to meet their demand. He used to sell spare parts of the bikes to make money.
DCP, Dwarka, Anto Alphonse said that police were informed about theft of a CD Deluxe motorcycle on Monday.
“Police came into action and apprehended a 14-year-old auto lifter from Dwarka. The auto lifter said that he used to commit crime for joy ride and recovering money for his needs,” he said.
