Hello, good people! This week, too, has come to an end. The weather is getting better; the rain gods have been blessing us with the occasional shower and some respite from the scorching sun. Seems like the universe is conspiring to get us out there and have a great time this weekend!

Here goes City Spidey's list of Gurgaon weekend options to choose from:

1. Beer Pong Tournament Beer Pong Slam - Edition 4

What: The popular "Beer Pong Tournament Beer Pong Slam​is back with its fourth edition. The event will see teams fight it out at a knock-out beer pong tournament, where players attempt to throw ping pong balls across the table into their opponents' cups filled with beer. If the ball sinks to the bottom of the cup, the opponent team has to empty the cup. The team that loses is bound to be quite tipsy after the match!

Why: The tournament is going to be a hell of a lot of fun, with prizes worth Rs 1 lakh and more to be won. What's more, all the beer used in the tournament will be on the house. You can also win a gift set and vouchers worth Rs 1,000 from Beardo for Men.

2. Week 2 of month-long cultural fest

What: A month-long cultural festival of plays and music performances that kicked off last week. The event, organised by the Municipal Corporation of Gurgaon (MCG), has been organised to promote art and culture in the city.

Why: The fest is free of cost and will include a milieu of talented performances, such as qawwali, a comedy play and Haryanvi dance and drama.

When: The fest will feature Qawwali by Geeta Chisti this week. The month-long fest will be held every Sunday.

Where: Open Air Theatre, Sector 29, Gurgaon (Starts at 7.30 pm)

3. Run For Your Wife

What: Run For Your Wife is a popular comedy written by Ray CooneyThe Gurgaon edition will be adapted for the Indian audience. Set in South Delhi, the Gurgaon version is the story of taxi driver Sabby Gill, who has been getting away with two wives in different houses, with the help of a carefully planned schedule. All's hunky dory till a head injury causes his plans to go awry. We will speak no more for the risk of spoilers. Go check it out!

Why: Because nothing fights stress better than an evening spent laughing out loud.

When: July 9-10 (9 pm to 11.59 pm)

4. Energy Medicine — Surest way to improve your health

5. Talk — Untold story of Qutub Minar

What: Speaker Vikramjit Singh Rooprai talks about the mysterious origins of the minar. Was it really built by Qutubud-din-Aibak, Delhi's slave king? Why don't the ancient scriptures mention his name? This one is going to be one interesting session! (Charges: Rs 250)

Why: Qutub Minar is one of the most prominent landmarks in the NCR. It is always good to know of the history of old monuments, as digging deep into history reveals tons of interesting facts and anecdotes.
