Tulip Infratech, a real estate developer in Gurgaon, organised a tree-planting initiative called "Planting of Saplings" at the sector 69/70 road recently. More than a thousand saplings were planted by local residents to promote greenery in the area.
Parveen Jain, CMD of Tulip Infratech, said, “It is imperative that such initiatives are taken to make our environment green and pollution-free. Pollution has risen to alarming levels and we should make a conscious effort to negate its effects.”
Residents who participated at the event were quite enthusiastic. Hemant Chandar, a participant, said, “I understand what I am doing is not just for myself, but for future generations to come.”
Rajan Sagar, a local resident, added, “We should do whatever we can individually to make our environment green, free of pollution and clean.”
