Deputy Registrar demands FONRWA's explanation for violating by-law

Seeming unhappy with the changes in FONRWA's by-laws, the deputy registrar of firms and society, Meerut, has intimated the federation to be present on the hearing date scheduled on August 6. The authority has asked FONRWA to bring supporting documents to present its case before the deputy registrar.

According to complainants, the earlier version of FONRWA’s by-law did not allow one person to hold the post of president more than two terms. But the seating president of FONRWA has been on this post continuously and since long, violating the by-law.

This is going to be third time, after October and December 2015, that the deputy registrar has intimated FONRWA for putting its side before the authority.

Meanwhile, AN Dhawan, secretary general of FONRWA, told City Spidey that they were yet to receive any official communication about the matter and would present their case in front of the Deputy Registrar only after formal notice.
