Gurugram: Haryana CM seeks public consultation for GDA

Keeping Gurugram's development in mind, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has sought public consultation for the proper implementation of Gurugram Development Authority, or GDA. GDA will consider all feedback received by December 10 in its first phase.

OSD V Umashankar, in a short tenure of 40 days, would consult and invite opinions from the city's RWAs, citizen-welfare clubs and the general public.

While talking to City Spidey, Umashankar said he would be seeking feedback from different demographics from across Gururgram, such as industrial institutions, RWAs and other resident bodies. All feedback would be received on the official email ID, feedback@gdaauthority.org.

"Public feedback is imperative for the proper functioning of GDA," said Umashankar. "It will give us a better idea of the requirements at the grass-roots level, especially those in the city's infrastructure. Officials from both Haryana Urban Development Authority [HUDA] and Municipal Corporation Gurgaon [MCG] have been roped in to help us prioritise issues."
