DMRC officials met the RWA of Mecon Apartments (Sector 62, Noida) on February 23 to discuss the feasibility of the planned Metro exit. CS Mudgal, Project Manager (Civil), DMRC, was also present at the meeting.
Residents had already voiced their apprehensions about the exit, which would cause unnecessary ruckus near the society gate.
"We have suggested shifting the exit a few metres across at the T-junction near Fortis Hospital. This will allow easy access for patients to the hospital and also solve our problem," said residents.
The officials assured the residents that their concern would be discussed in the upcoming board meeting.
"We have received a positive response from the officials," said PR Chandna, Secretary of RWA. The enthused RWA has also planned to meet Mangu Singh, Managing Director, DMRC (who they had earlier written to), and top officials of Noida Authority to resolve the issue by the coming month.
