Consortium of Societies Ghaziabad, or COG, is all set to organise a workshop on environmental issues on December 25. The workshop, under a programme named "Swachh Indirapuram - Swasth Indirapuram", will be organised at the community hall of Aditya Mega City in Vaibhav Khand.
Organisers of the workshop said the programme was part of a series of events aimed to deal with different social issues across societies from Indirapuram and Ghaziabad. The first event in the series, organised by COG, was held on November 19 at Rajhans Kutumb.
The discussion topics for the workshop are:
1. Pollution: Reasons and ways to minimise it
2. Strategy for tree-planting and cleanliness drives in neighbourhoods
3. Garbage disposal in high-rise societies and waste segregation
4. Construction-related pollution due to under-construction residential buildings
Sharat Jha, president of COG, said they were expecting a high turnout at the meeting.
