The city is all set for Pravasi Bhartiya Sammelan, which is expected to bring investments for India, and also become the platform for signing of several MoUs.

Gurgaon to host NRI meet from Jan 10 to 11 Kingdom of Dreams, the venue for Pravasi Bhartiya Sammelan

Gurgaon is all set to celebrate Pravasi Bhartiya Sammelan from January 10 to January 11 at Kingdom of Dreams (KOD) with an array of exciting events.

The entire stretch from Signature Tower to the KOD will be done up with lights, balloons and flowers.

Help desks will be set up at IGI Airport at T3 and T1 from the afternoon of January 9. More than seventy liaison officers will be deployed at the airport to help out the guests. 

The meet will be inaugurated by Haryana’s industries and commerce minister Vipul Goel. Several MoUs are expected to be signed.

Besides the events, there will be signature state delicacies from across the country, ranging from Lucknow’s kebabs to Mysore’s dosa, to Agra’s pethas, to Bengal’s rossgolla.

Residents are extremely excited about the event.

RK Yadav, RWA president of Sector 46, said, “Pravasi Sammelan will do a world of good to the state’s economy. Let’s hope we are able to attract investors. In the coming years, we might just become the next Silicon Valley!”

Neelam Mehta, another resident, agreed. She added, “This is a really big event for our city. It will put Gurgaon on the world map.”

• 20 NRIs from the state to be honoured
