Noida Authority has already begun construction of a 1.5-km-long road divider between sectors 39 and 40.
Work started on January 3 and is slated for completion by April 15. The divider lies between Gate No 2 of Sector 39 and Gate No 1 of Sector 41.
The project is expected to cost Rs 45 lakh.
Vatsala Parashar, RWA president of Sector 39, told City Spidey that she had written several letters to the Authority about construction of the divider, because of the presence of heavy traffic on both sides of the road.
SK Gupta, project engineer of Noida Authority, said to City Spidey, “We are trying to complete construction before April 15. We are also making a U-turn there.”
