Members of Prantic, a cultural organisation of Bengali residents in Indirapuram, have launched a pro-BJP website aimed at helping voters in the area. The website provides information on BJP's election agenda for the upcoming state assembly elections, along with links to other websites that provide voters information about their polling booths.
Malay Majumdar, chairman of Prantik and a resident of Gaur Green City, told City Spidey, "Voters from societies usually have a hard time finding their polling booths. They do not even know where to find such information. The website helps them find all the details."
Majumdar mentioned that he received help from the IT team at his office to develop the site.
The website also provides an option to put forth queries and demands to Sunil Sharma, the BJP candidate from Sahibabad, the assembly constituency of Indirapuram. The link, www.sunilsharmasahibabad.com, is now being shared via social media.
