Under the banner of Consortium of Societies Ghaziabad, or COG, residents and AOA members of several societies have decided to resume monthly cleanliness drives in the city, calling the initiative Save Indirapuram.
After approaching GDA several times about the matter, the residents decided to strike out on their own.
Earlier, Lotus Pond, Aditya Mega City, ATS Haciendas, ATS Advantage, Rajhans Kutumb, Mahagun Mansion, Gaur Green City and Amrapali Royal had participated in the drive. The cleanliness drives were conducted on a stretch in front of Lotus Pond in Vaibhav Khand.
Sharat Jha, president of both Rajhans Kutumb AOA and COG, told City Spidey that drives would be conducted on the stretches around the ATS societies. "They will start from 9 am and continue till 11 am on February 25. We would really want more residents to join us,” he added.
