Noida, Sector 74 wants a park that looks like a park

Around 30 residents from Supertech Capetown and Ajnara Grand Heritage in Sector 74, Noida, met the director of horticulture department of Noida Authority on March 1. The agenda: Improve the facilities of the common park in Sector 74.

Shailendra Baranwal, a resident of Supertech Capetown, told City Spidey, “There’s a park between both the societies, but the builder of Supertech would dump construction material there. Fortunately, we had it removed with help from Noida Authority.”

He added, “Now, the residents want Noida Authority to develop the park. It should get benches for senior citizens, swings for children — and an open gym could be a good idea."

Dharanjay Singh, a resident of Ajnara Grand Heritage, said the director responded positively to the residents' demand.

When City Spidey spoke to the director, he said, “The park will certainly be developed — but I can’t give you a time frame just yet. First, I will get my team to prepare a budget, and then we will send it to Noida Authority for approval.”
