Dwarka Hello Moms celebrates International Women's Day at Pochanpur
Dwarka Hello Moms celebrated International Women's Day on March 8 at Pochanpur in Sector 23. Anil Parashar, former joint registrar of National Human Rights Council of India, and a resident of Sri Agrasen Apartments of Sector 7, presided over the event as the chief guest.
Women from different walks of life spoke on the various aspects of empowerment through education and employment. The speakers included author, corporate trainer and filmmaker Pallavi Prakash; Aman Rajput, deputy director, ministry of defence; and Parul Makkar, manager-cum-HR at ITC’s WelcomHotel Dwarka, among others.
Hello Moms used this opportunity to felicitate young girls and women from the underprivileged sections for their contribution towards their family — and their achievements.
A large cake was cut as part of the celebrations.
