FONRWA and RWAs hold meeting with Meerut IG

Members of FONRWA (Federation of Noida Residents’ Welfare Association) and other RWAs met Ajay Anand, inspector-general of police, Meerut, about law and order issues at the FONRWA office in Sector 52, Noida, on April 2.

The RWAs put forth the following demands:

1. Need for a police commissionerate in Noida

2. Need for an essential police force and advance electronic gadgets

3. Need for a digital control room in Noida

4. Training for police personnel for better communication with the public

5. Need for fingerprint experts in Noida

6. Improved traffic management

7. Provision for highrise fire-brigade platforms

8. Dog squad for Noida

9. Improved surveillance with CCTV cameras across Noida

10. Regular interaction between the police and Noida RWAs

NP Singh, FONRWA president, told City Spidey, “We got a positive response from Ajay Anand. He agreed that the points discussed were important and necessary to implement.”
