Exotica Elegance tries out pranic healing

Residents of Exotica Elegance, a society in Indirapuram, took part in a pranic healing session to heal their ailments. The session was held free of cost, under the guidance of Shail Uniyal, a well-known pranic healer.

Speaking to City Spidey, Sweta Rai, president of the society’s AOA, said the healing process involved concentrating the life-energy of one's body, or the prana, to heal both internal and external ailments.

Explaining the entire process, Rai, who also happens to be a professional yoga trainer, said she had also learned the art of healing from a fellow resident and had also started practicing recently.

“I have been a yoga instructor for several years now and I was recently introduced to pranic healing by Veena Doval who was a healer and used to learn yoga from me. I chose to learn the process since it was a useful skill to have in my line of work,” added Rai.

“It is about using the invisible and formless energy to heal the ailments of the physical body," continued Rai. "This energy medicine was developed by Grand Master Choa Kok Sui. It utilizes prana to balance, harmonise and transform the body's energy processes. This invisible bio-energy keeps the body alive and maintains a state of good health.”

Utkarsh Doval, a 15-year-old resident of Exotica Elegance, said the healing process deals with several ailments — from stress to physical health disorders. “Sometimes the ailments take a long time to heal, but it depends on the patient's level of concentration. Sometimes it takes multiple sessions but smaller issues don't take much time," added Doval.

We at City Spidey also caught up with Kanchan Pushkarna, a resident who had attended the healing session for the first time. Pushkarna said she had already taken medical help for her diabetes and knee pain but they were taking a lot of time to heal. “I felt something different in today's session. It was relaxing,” said Pushkarna. “There is good chance that I’m going to try it again. It was only an introduction and I liked it,” she added.
