Noida Authority constituted a special cell called “Public Grievances Redressal Cell” on May 3 to address the complaints of residents of the city.

Residents can submit their complaints from 9.30 am to 6 pm on all working days. Written complaints can be submitted at the reception of the Authority’s office. Complaints can also be sent via email at grievanceredressal@noidaauthorityonline.com. Every complaint will be allotted a unique number that will help the senior officials of the Authority trace the complaint and check its progress.

The complaints will be dealt with and solved within seven days, failing which the head of the department concerned will have to present a reason for the same. The officer concerned will also have to explain in writing the extra time required to address the complaint.

Saumya Srivastava, deputy CEO, Noida Authority, has been entrusted with the responsibility of monitoring and reviewing the work of the complaint cell every 15 days.

Srivastava told City Spidey that the aim of the arrangement was not only to take action for the public but also to determine the accountability of the officers concerned.

“C Arora, project engineer of Noida Authority, has been made the incharge of the Public Grievances Redressal Cell and AP Vedpal, another project engineer of Noida Authority, is the co-incharge of the cell,” he added.
