Members of Federation of CGHS (FCGHS), Dwarka, met the newly appointed chief engineer of Dwarka, SN Singh, at DDA's Dwarka head office at Manglapuri and discussed the issues related to the sub-city.

The delegation handed him a handwritten note about the problems related to civic amenities.

According to a member of FCGHS, issues such as pruning of trees, repair of roads, maintenance of parks and garbage removal were discussed. The FCGHS members also suggested Singh remove the non-functional bio-toilets from the parks and promote composting of horticulture waste. General secretary of FCGHS and a resident of Delhi Apartments, Sudha Sinha, said, “We made the chief engineer aware of the basic problems we face on a day-to-day basis. We want the city to be maintained properly on all civic fronts.”

After listening to the problems and issues, Singh assured the delegation to take the appropriate initiatives to resolve all issues as soon as possible. President TP Maniappan, president of FCGHS; Sudha Sinha, general secretary of FCGHS; Selva Rajan, secretary of FCHS; and IM Khanna, organising secretary, were part of the FCGHS delegation.
