A drawing competition under way at Sector 22 DDA park
Senior citizens celebrated World Environment Day (June 5) today with the children at the DDA park in Sector 22, Dwarka. The event was organised by Sukh Dukh Ke Sathi (SDKS).
Besides the usual sapling planting, a painting competition was also organised by SDKS for under-privileged children.

Environmental activist Ramesh Mumukshu was also present on the occasion. He spoke at length of his work in the Himalayas. SDKS general secretary PB Mishra read out a nature-themed poem, MP Garg, a resident of Sector 22, spoke on birds.
Deputy director of horticulture, DDA, YD Sharma, was also present at the event.
