Buyers of Amrapali Dream Valley, a residential project by the Amrapali Group in Noida Extension, today met Debashish Panda, the CEO of Greater Noida Authority, to assess the progress on the promises made by the developer at a triparty meeting held on May 31.

The developer had promised to submit a tower-wise report to the Authority before June 7.

Hitesh Nakhasi, a buyer, told City Spidey that the builder had to submit the balance sheet of the past three years, a tower-wise report, the number of units sold and unsold, the financial status of the project and a report on the basic amenities.

“Today, during the follow-up meeting, buyers came to know that no details and documents had been submitted by the builder,” Nakhasi said.

Satish Kumar, another buyer, said, “Greater Noida Authority told us a reminder had been sent to the developer. We witnessed very casual behaviour from the CEO. He said he didn't have a magic wand that could resolve the issues.”

“A group of 10 buyers will go to Lucknow tomorrow to meet UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to complain against the irregularities of Greater Noida Authority, and will demand strict action against the CEO for his biased behaviour against homebuyers,” Nakhasi added.

The buyers will also go on a hunger strike from June 25 to July 5 at the project site.

The project has 47 towers, with about 12,000 flats. While 8,000 flats have been sold, the rest remain unsold. Furthermore, only 40 per cent of the construction has been completed till date.
