Noida Authority inspection of Logix Blossom Greens a sham? Homebuyers outside the gates of Logix Blossom Greens

Noida Authority’s planning department today conducted an inspection of Logix Blossom Greens, a housing project in Sector 143, and found several anomalies.

In a triparty meeting held on June 12 between homebuyers, the builder and Noida Authority officials, a site inspection to verify buyer complaints was decided upon.

Buyers alleged that Noida Authority had wrongly issued an occupancy certificate (OC) and a completion certificate (CC) to the developer, as there were no lifts or a firefighting system in the society. Other basic amenities, too, were missing.

About 50 homebuyers were present at the time of inspection today.

Buyers said no senior officer had come for the inspection — only junior-level officers were sent. Neither was any senior official from the developer's side present. The builder had, however, sent bouncers to prevent buyers from entering the society, they added.

Vinod Tahlawat, a flat buyer, told City Spidey, “There are no lifts in towers R and T; there’s no electricity and no Ganga jal connection. Yet Noida Authority issued the CC and OC to the developer. Why?”

Buyers were not satisfied with the inspection and demanded another triparty meeting.

An officer in Noida Authority's planning department said, “We studied the details of the project to find out whether the builder was guilty of the violations residents were accusing it of. We will make a report on the project and send it to the additional CEO soon. However, the decision to revoke the certificates lies with the higher officials of Noida Authority.”
