Why FONRWA is so upbeat about PM visit

With Prime Minister Narendra Modi set to visit Noida tomorrow (December 31), members of Federation of Noida Residents Welfare Association (FONRWA) are all geared up not only to welcome him but also to hand over a memorandum.

Going above party and politics, residents and RWAs from Noida will attend the public meeting at Sector 62 where the PM will address an audience following the foundation laying ceremony of Delhi-Meerut Expressway.

Of course, the occasion comes as a perfect opportunity for FONRWA and the RWAs to draw the PM's attention towards some of the major issues of the twin cities of Noida and Greater Noida.

“We are indeed fortunate to have the PM visiting Noida. We will bring up a few issues concerning Noida and Greater Noida that needs urgent attention from him," says NP Singh, President of FONRWA.

And what would be the issues? Well, the list includes a demand to convert all residential plots in Noida from leasehold to freehold, a toll-free DND flyway, and rail connectivity to Noida.
