In light of the traffic congestion on city roads owing to the annual Kanwar Yatra, the district administration of Ghaziabad has ordered all schools of the city to remain closed for four days from 18 till 21 July.
Following the order, several schools issued holiday notices to the parents.
Speaking to City Spidey, officials of the district administration confirmed the holiday, and said that the decision was taken to avoid unnecessary trouble for schoolchildren.
The schools will reopen on July 22.
Parents though relieved on one hand are also worried about exam schedule for unit tests being thrown in disarray.TAGS: Kanwar Yatra / Ghaziabad / Schools / District Administration
