Anangsha Alomyan has just acquired a Master's degree in Sociology from Delhi University, but photography is how she wants to document society as she depicts in the following images the way she sees Gurgaon.

This is Gurgaon, glass and chrome, this building representing the millennium city at its towering best. The shot was taken from the ground at a moment when zooming through the lens I saw a piece of art painted on a white and blue canvas.

Sandwiched among the gigantic buildings are small houses, and a road connecting homes and offices. I took this picture from the window of my house.

This Metro bridge is a connector used by thousands everyday. Teaming with people, it doesn't always look this empty which was why I thought it was a striking view worth capturing.

You hardly see a twilight sky in Gurgaon. A very rare opportunity for me to witness a tawny, copper coloured view, where the surroundings were pitch black and unilluminated, dusted by a bronze sheen. Sundown paving the way for stars to shine.

I was in DLF Cyber Hub, when I found myself focusing on the two concrete structures beyond the road. One of them stands at a 60 degree angle. The roads weren’t packed with vehicles; the few cars enjoying their own space on a stretch known for jam-packed jams.

Gurgaon is a corporate hub full of offices. It's also a place for shopping and entertainment. The Rapid Metro has made it very convenient for work and play.

A lone man awaits his bus somewhere in a Gurgaon bus stop as fast cars and fancy bikes zoom by.

The night life of Gurgaon is sparkling. The skyscrapers and small houses shimmer from far away. The weekends see people partying late into the night.
