Several political and non political organisations from across Ghaziabad have joined hands to demand justice for Armaan Sehgal, a 10-year-old who recently died under mysterious circumstances in GD Goenka Public School, Indirapuram. The representatives of the organisations held a meeting with the Sehgals and their relatives today at Supertech Residency, the society in Vaishali, where Armaan and his family lived. The meeting was held to decide the next course of action.

Satish Sharma, former Congress minister, said a meeting has been fixed with officials of the district administration and senior police officials of Ghaziabad on Monday.

Parents and relatives of Armaan Sehgal expressed disregard for the lax attitude of the administration towards investigation of the issue. Moreover, the meeting also saw the presence of senior lawyers from the city who assured legal assistance to the family. “The committee has been formed to mount pressure on the district administration and to raise various issues of the grieving parents with the higher authorities,” said Satyapal Chaudhary, local BSP leader.
