Sushant Lok I: Can residents feel safe about their cars parked outside?

Looks like no. Rajeev Dhar, a resident whose house is on the main road, found the rear glass of his Swift Dezire broken when he got to his car in the morning.

Sushant Lok I: Can residents feel safe about their cars parked outside? The damaged rear glass of the Swift Dezire

When Rajeev Dhar got to his car — a Swift Dezire — in the morning, he found the rear glass shattered. This incident took place yesterday night in Sushant Lok I.

A complaint has been lodged with the police.

Dhar, 64, and a retired employee the United Nations, contacted the maintenance agency Profac, but they had nothing to say.

Speaking to City Spidey, Dhar said, “If you look at the broken glass, it seems like someone hit the car with a stone. However, no stone was found inside the car.”

He continued, “I have no enmity with anyone. Our house is on the main road, and there’s a wine shop close-by. So often, there are drunk people around, and they can get rowdy. It could have been them too.”

Luckily, a house close-by has CCTV camera, and the footage will be examined by the police.

Speaking to City Spidey, SHO Gaurav Phogat said, “We’ll examine the CCTV footage, and take action against the culprit.”
