Gurgaon
Yet another burglary, this time in Sector 57: Burglars struck in Sector 57 on Tuesday night, third time in the city in the recent past. They barged into the residence of Asim Ali Khan, DGM of Transport Corporation of India, and decamped with jewellery worth Rs 5 lakh and Rs 10,000 in cash. The culprits cut iron grilles to gain entry into the home. The incident occurred at 8.15 pm when the family was away.
Drug-hypnotise-and-rob: Two youths robbed a 24-year-old woman after allegedly hypnotising and drugging her. Pooja, a resident of Sikhohpur, lost consciousness as she was sprayed an intoxicant and "hypnotised" by the youths while travelling in an auto. Later, when she regained her consciousness she found Rs 1,000 cash, gold earrings, a chain and her cell phone missing. An FIR has been lodged in the case.
Palwal
Wait for Palwal-Manesar e-way is over: At long last, Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) expressway is thrown open to traffic. The project was delayed by almost seven years. The Palwal (NH-2) to Manesar (NH-8), which will serve as a bypass, is expected to cut down inter-state traffic on roads of Delhi.

Metro force for Noida-GreNo corridor: A ‘Metro Force’ to be constituted by PAC personnel will provide security to Noida-Greater Noida Metro corridor. This was decided by the UP government which is planning an elaborate security for the 29-km-long corridor. As per the plan, police stations will be set up and CCTV cameras installed at stations.
