The school is now safe: DC tells parents at Ryan International, Bhondsi

Today the Deputy Commissioner of Police had addressed the parents of students studying at Ryan International School, Bhondsi. A meeting had been organised at the school premises in the course of which parents apprised the top cop about the safety and security issues of the school.

The meeting also informed the anxious parents about all the latest initiatives that have been taken by the authorities to fortify the security of the students. The DC reassured the parents that all lapses in security have been corrected and that the school is ready to re-open.

“We have been told that 40 CCTV cameras are installed in the school and the ones which were not operational have now been rectified” said Aksha Raghav, a parent.

The school had opened on Monday. However, owing to low attendance (below 20 percent) it had to remain shut from the very next day.

Speaking to City Spidey another parent said, “The boundary wall has been repaired and new ID cards shall be issued.”

The Deputy Commissioner has urged parents to trust the realigned security arrangements and let children resume school.
