In line with PM Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharat Mission, a mobile app, ‘Clean Noida, Green Noida’, has been launched with an objective to secure clean environment for the city.
The motto of this app is to achieve cleanliness through Digital India. ‘Clean Noida, Green Noida’ is an effort to realise sanitation objectives through technology. This android app, meant for Noida empowers its residents to upload photographs of areas unattended by sanitary staff and hence need urgent to civic attention to alert the authorities.
The powerful online tool also provides essential information about public toilets and garbage dumps with locations precisely marked on Google maps. The new ‘Clean Noida’ app will encourage people to involve themselves in cleanliness drives in the city.
According to civic officials, the 'Clean Noida' app is integrated with the ubiquitously 'Noida Citizen', an online citizen app with 187 services across 12 departments.
Where to get the app? The mobile app is available for download through Google Play store.
Designed by Suparna Systems of Bengaluru, the app will also keep track of follow-up action by the authorities.
