City Spidey spoke to some people who witnessed the incident.

Naveen Toppo, a resident of Laxmi Colony, Siddhipur Loha Vilage of Haryana, who was on the spot when the incident took place, claimed he was the first to spot the plane landing.

He said, “Around 2.45 pm, I was overseeing construction works at home when suddenly I saw a plane hovering over the field at a very low height. I was still in a shock over the scene in front of me when I heard a loud thud. I rushed in that direction and saw that the plane fell. Thereupon, I, along with others present there, helped the passengers of the ill-fated plane come out to safety.”

Mukesh, a woman from Kair Village, whose house is located close the spot said, “I saw the plane go berserk, flying in circles approaching towards my house. Suddenly, I witnessed the plane take a U-turn towards the fields. Soon after, it fell down and started sliding in the field.”

“Watching it approach us was scary. We started shouting to alert our neighbours so that they could rush to safety. But the plane stopped in the field at a distance of about 150 m from my house. We then rushed to the spot and helped the people on board,” she added.
