Bus Shelters in various parts of Greater Noida are lying in a shambles. The ones in Sectors Alpha and Beta, along with those near Golf Vista and Golf Gardenia, are in particularly bad shape.
These bus shelters are a stone's throw away from the office of the Greater Noida Authority but the officials haven't taken any step to restore them.
Rakesh Sharma, a resident of Alpha II, told City Spidey that they seldom used the shelters. "We have lodged formal complaints with the authority, but no action has been taken."
Neelu Singh, a resident of Golf Vista Society, said, that the bus shelter next to their society was in such a dilapidated condition that she had advised her children not to stand under the shelter, fearing it could collapse any time.
Senior manager of the Greater Noida Authority, Anand Mohan Singh, when contacted by City Spidey, said, that the bus shelters would be repaired in the due course of time. "If we receive complaints about some bus shelters in particular, we will get them renovated at the earliest," he added.
