Dharmendra Singh, an IPS officer of the 2006 batch, took charge as the new SSP of Gautam Budh Nagar on Wednesday. He was previously posted as SSP of Ghaziabad.
Addressing the media at the district police headquarters in Surajpur, he said that his top priority would be better policing to maintain law and order in the twin cities of Noida and Ghaziabad, and that he would be available in his Greater Noida office on all days of the week for the public.
He also warned the police force against misbehaving with the common man and said that the police should be polite and courteous to the people.
