For children from various societies across the sub city of Dwarka, the five days they spent at a summer camp were worth cherishing all their life. Organised at Brahma Kumarij Centre of Sector 11, the summer camp was all fun-and-learn experience.

During these five days, from June 1 to 5, the participants were given training for their all-round development. Various sessions of the summer workshop, such as personality development, art and craft, exercises and parent-child interaction and relationship, were planned in keeping with the personality development of the children.

Through these activities, the participants could develop team spirit, imbibe human values and learn the art of living. On the concluding day of the camp, a session of parent-child interaction was organised.

Addressing the gathering, director of the Brahma Kumaris’ Centre, Sector 11, Sister BK Saroj, linked parenting to spiritualism. Councillor Shashi Tomar described children as the future of the nation with the potential to make the country successful on all fronts while President, Association of Neighbourhood Ladies Get-together (ANHLGT), Cicily Kodiyan, wished them a bright future.

On the occasion, the children presented a cultural programme of music and dance on stage in the presence of many dignitaries of the sub city and Brahma Kumaris.
