Absconding realty group director nabbed in Lado Sarai

Surpreet Suri, director of 3C group, was arrested for allegedly defaulting on payment of over Rs 100 crore Gautam Budh Nagar district sub divisional magistrate, Dadri Rajeev Rai.  He was absconding ever since the realty group was served three recovery certificates (RC) in 2018 leaving hundreds of buyers awaiting possession their flats in the lurch. 

The three RCs, valued at Rs 35 crore, Rs 65 crore and around Rs 4 crore respectively, were issued against the group.

According to official sources, Suri was arrested from his Lado Sarai office in South Delhi on the instructions of the district administration. He could be tracked down after a rigorous manhunt and has been sent to the lockup, an official said, adding, the administration is now on the lookout for other two directors – Vidur Bharadwaj and Nirmal Singh – who are still absconding.
