Gurugram: Adding one more feather to its cap, Gurugaman, the city bus service, bagged Commendable Initiative Award. The award will be conferred on it by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affair at the 12th Urban Mobility India conference in Lucknow on November 17.
The Gurugram Metropolitan City Bus Limited (GMCBL) won the award under the category of Best City Bus Service Project for its initiative of city bus service in Gurugram.

The city bus service, Gurugaman, which started in the city on September 2, 2018, has been receiving overwhelming response from the denizens. Over the last one year, the GMCBL spread its network and has set a record of ridership of one crore passengers during this period. At present, 129 buses are running on 12 routes across the city.
