New Delhi: The National Capital witnessed moderate fog on Sunday morning with maximum temperature settling at 9.6 degrees Celsius.
The visibility was reduced in many parts of the city due to fog. According to an official from Met department, the visibility at Palam at 8 am was 200 metre, while at Safadarjung it was 300 metre at the same time.
As per the Central Pollution Control Board data, the air quality index (AQI) at 9 am was 188 which falls in the ‘moderate’ category.
Relative humidity at 8.30 am was 100 percent. The maxium tenperature on Sunday is expected to be around 20 degrees Celsius
