Residents of Greenwoods society, Sector P1, Greater Noida, are reeling under a severe water crisis for the past one month.

Vishal Chadha, a resident, said, "The water pipeline was dug up for repair work, and since then we haven't been getting proper water supply."

Reema Parashar, another resident, told City Spidey, “The water pipeline was damaged, but it seems the repair work has been left midway.”

When City Spidey took up the matter with Anand Mohan, senior manager, Greater Noida Authority, he said, “The land for the society was allotted 15 years back. The laying and repairing of water pipelines inside the complex is the responsibility of the builder. The Authority cannot do anything about it.”

However, Anoop Kumar, the secretary of the society, has assured that the damaged pipeline is being repaired. “We hope to resume proper water supply in a day or two,” he said.
